VIT's training on embedded systems

The Technology Business Incubator at the VIT University, which is a joint initiative between the university and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, is organising a six-week ‘Technology Entrepreneurship Training Programme on Embedded Systems’, with a focus on automotive infotronics, from November 25, as part of the Accelerated Business Coaching Initiative.

According to VIT chancellor G Viswanathan, the programme would expose the participants to requisite skills, knowledge and competencies, in order to start their venture in electronics design in particular embedded systems) / development / manufacturing /service areas. It would also equip them with technical knowledge in embedded systems and its applications. It will helping them select qualifying startups from this program, for incubation support in VIT Technology Business Incubator (VITTBI), and provide access to seed a funding support (maximum of Rs 50 lakh per venture)

The 6-week non-residential training programme will will cover essentials of entrepreneurship, basics of marketing, finance and human resource management, etc. It will also provide hands-on experience to write and present business plans and incubate their ideas at the VITTBI.
