IIT JAM 2014 online registration ends by Oct 16

The Indian Institutes of Technology ( IITs) conducts Joint Admission Test (JAM) to Master of Science. The last date to register online for this prestigious course is October 16, 2013.
According to reports, IIT Kanpur will conduct JAM 2014 on February 9, 2014.
The Joint Admission Test (JAM) to Master of Science (M.Sc.) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology ( IITs) for admission to Integrated Ph.D degree programs at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) and M.Sc (2 year), Joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D Dual Degree, M.Sc-M.Tech and other Post-Bachelor's degree programs at the 11 IITs.
The aim of the IISc Bangalore and IITs is to build a sound foundation of knowledge, pursue excellence and enhance creativity in an intellectually stimulating environment.
The current pace of advancement of technology needs a coherent back-up of basic science education and research. The vibrant academic ambience and research infrastructure of IISc and IITs motivate the students to pursue careers in Research and Development in frontier areas of basic sciences as well as interdisciplinary areas of science and technology.
