IIT Guwahati ranked at 87th spot among world's top 100 universities
Indian Institute of Technology-Guwahati was ranked at the 87th position among the top 100 world universities – under 50 years of age – published by London-based Times Higher Eductaion (THE) magazine on 30 April 2014. With this entry into the list, the IIT-Guwahati has taken India in the list of top 100 under 50 University rankings. It is the first and only Indian entry in the list and it shares the 87th rank with Portugal's New University of Lisbon and Australia's University of Western Sydney.
