Tryst, the technical extravaganza of IIT Delhi

Tryst, the annual technical festival of IIT Delhi, is no different with its literal meaning "Romantic Rendezvous" and is indeed a much anticipated rendezvous of technology and fantasizers. Tryst in its 22nd Edition envisages setting an exemplary stage to the world out there for technical symposiums and expos. Tryst is organized by the student body "Co-Curricular and Academic Interaction Council" (CAIC) to recognize, reward and incubate innovations in the recent technologies across the globe.

Tryst this year, in 22nd edition, will be held from 26th February – 1st March 2014. It has a couple of really mind boggling events lined up, which would be accessible in short a while. In the meantime it has a Tech MUN lined up, with following committees to be simulated: WHO, WIPO and UNFCCC, and the Applications for Executive Board and International Press are open.

The most fascinating event throughout the tryst, Robotryst, has already been notified, and with the zonal results also been declared, the countdown to the finals have been ticking and the schedule will be out on 15th of January for the same. This, an initiative by Robosapiens India, is a workshop series cum robotics championship. This edition had the zonal competition held at various cities across India with a prior exhaustive workshop with the provided robot kits.

This also has workshops lined up, from various streams of engineering to finance and management viz. Cloud Computing, Stock Exchange, Satellite Design and many more. I believe these provide enough insight into the extent of grandeur of Tryst.

So mark your calendar for this technical extravaganza, put on your reminder alarms and whatever you keep for making a to-do list. Remember the dates; it is 26th February – 1st March 2014.
