Meet Charles or Charlie, one of the world's most advanced robot, designed by Rajiv Khosla an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology and professor at Australia's La Trobe University, which can do all of that. At mere 20cm tall, Charlie is a 'Partner-Personal Robot' (PaPeRo), who has been specifically designed to assist children and adults with problems like dementia, autism, cerebral palsy, brain injury and other such illness. "A child with dementia will often forget to wash his hands in the washroom. Arvind Kejriwal The alumni meet of the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur (IIT-K) beginning January 17 may be attended by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who graduated in mechanical engineering from the institute in 1989, the alumni cell said Saturday. "This year, the 1989 batch will be celebrating its silver jubilee. We have sent a formal invitation. We are hopeful he would be coming to meet his batch mates arriving from across the country and even abroad," said Aditi Sharma, general secretary, Students' Alumni Cell. Besides the 1989 batch, the institute is also hosting the golden jubilee and ruby jubilee of different batches, with over 250 IITians expected to attend. The alumni meet of the class of 1989 at IIT-Kharagpur would have been a regular get-together of old friends going down memory lane but for Arvind Kejriwal, the new chief minister of Delhi, who has been invited to the meet. Kejriwal graduated from this institute in mechanical engineering in 1989. While it is yet not known if Kejriwal will attend the meet or not, his hostel mates at Nehru Hall, where he stayed for five years, from 1985 to 1989, have written to him to drop in "at least for a few hours".  Arvind Kejriwal is the second chief minister to have been an IITian after his Goa counterpart Manohar Parrikar and joins a select group of ministers like Ajit Singh and Jairam Ramesh whose alma mater is the crown jewel of the country's higher education.
